Whoa, 2 posts in a day, somebody's on a blogging rampage!
Am feeling very restless now. Well, it just feels like I have so many thoughts going through my head now and so many things to accomplish by this week so I really need to unwind and release it somewhere.
I realize I don't photo blog a lot. I hardly ever blog about events , happenings etc. Yeah so photos galore, some pretty dated.

The Apple store at Sydney! And these stores are proven to be the highest earners with the highest earning ratio per square meter.

Booyah.. Old photo from winter at Sydney. I bought the pink ipod nano casing. Totally not worth $30 for something like that even if it's Belkin. But I just wanted to purchase something at that store because of how the store was so funky and such an awesome possum. This, is called
atmospherics, baby. Speaking of which, I'm so glad I finished my CB ( Consumer behaviour la, what were u thinking?) assignment today. Hurray :)

I like the stair cases! I wasn't the only one snapping pictures at the stairs mind you. Jessye was such a doll. very patient photographer.

It's mum's birthday today , as in Tuesday the 30th. Dad's birthday falls on the 16th and Kor's on the 4th. Can't believe Dad's 60 and Mum's 57 this year!! Holy moley!! They went off to Vietnam and China for their birthdays already.

Big Hunt few Saturdays ago, organised by Oxygen. In case you didn't notice, we were wearing colours of the rainbow. See the rainbow coloured ribbon on us? Well, apparently rainbows are symbolic for the homosexuals so there you go, an all girl group with rainbows as their team identity. Apparently the whole world knew about it except for the 6 of us. And there I was wearing a
purple Barney shirt. You rock, homos! But guess what? Despite our gay (pun intended) colours, we got awarded best dressed and went home with a 2GB thumbdrive. Right at your face!

What's with Asians and jumping shots? I really like this and we took it with 1 take only :)

Reminds me of this one here we took few years back. It's so perfect some people actually thought it was photo shopped and we were actually kneeling on the floor -_-

A silly and random photo that generated 60 over comments on Facebook. Sadly, except for one guy ( guess which one), all of them are attached. Even sadder, the silliest looking one with a coconut shell for hair is attached to me. Don't ask me what was I thinking then :p
One thing for sure, spring is definitely here. Yipee doo dah!

Joanne's 21st surprise picnic at the botanical gardens. It was totally fantabulous!! "Somebody's" gonna get dragged to the gardens by me every saturday from now on hehe...
We bought her a beach bag and straw fedora. The fedora is so cute and I totally want it!

Last spring at the Royal Adelaide Show. Decided not to go this year since it's a waste of mullah. I wonder how these two people are doing now... It was such a great day out and I really like this photo. We were so colourful!! *beams proudly*
One thing with spring, the weather fluctuates so much it's irritating. The difference between day and night is huge as well. We were at the beach on Saturday and it was all sunny and hot. By the time we got back to the city at night, it was probably around 12 degrees, cold and windy. Imagine walking about in shorts and tees. Geez!
Two trips to Glenelg in a span of 4 days. Had a life group dinner by the beach on Wednesday.

I ♥♥♥♥♥ this picture and the different shades of pink!!! It's too pretty and Jacky is an amazing photographer :)

More sunset and jetty shots. God is marvelous isn't He?

Half the bunch of us waiting for dinner. The skyline looks almost artificial. It was one of the colder spring nights. We had really yummy fish and chips and the whole heap that fed about the 12 of us only costs $25!!! Nevermind that I was hungry by 10pm. I'm always hungry anyway.
Friends back home, behold the wobbly jelly belly Shi Wei Yang now sports. :(
We spent the night eating and shared about life in general over the past months and also how we felt about lifegroup.
So we took a lot of photos and this is probably the best of the bunch. The rest had only shots of body parts say Jimmy's face, fingers and people in weird positions.

The Lifegroup with quite a few missing people. You are all missed no matter which corner of the globe you are!

Despite the many times I told myself it was the LAST time I would ever catch a cycle of ANTM again, I never stuck to it. It happened for cycle 8, 9 ,10 and now 11. So now here we are at cycle 11. Watch this
C'mon! How more ridiculous can it get? It seems that she has been doing a bit of modeling even before joining ANTM but what they're doing by having her on a show is putting her in the limelight and be subjected to either disapproval or approval from all over the world. And what kind of message are they sending to people out there? Well, from a non-moral related view point, her face is quite pretty ONLY if she doesn't open her mouth.( I hate ugly teeth!!) Her voice sounds pretty horrendous. And her body is all wrong. She is doesn't have the height to make her stand out and doesn't have any womanly curves or figure at all (duh!). She has no boobs and still has a dick!!
I totally get what Tyra Banks is trying to do: embracing the different. The broken, the rejected, the whatever-issues-they-have. Is she trying to do a show about fashion and modeling for the masses or is she trying to help people come to terms with situations in their life ala Dr Phil/Tyra Banks Show? I think she's trying too hard to show a compassionate and benevolent side. And I know I'm being very politically incorrect here but there's gotta be a time and place for everything and ANTM is not the time for all that! Geez! And it's no wonder none of her models ever became "top" models. Totally defeats the purpose of her show.
Anyhow, this cycle looks pretty promising because they've got a few good ones. And the s/he got booted. Finally came to her senses eh?

Hooboy! Think I'd abandon the blog didn't you? Well, I did actually :) So the sudden "surge" in activity means i'm on a break! If only! I've got 3 assignments all due on the same day, Thursday after the break. What kind of dumb luck is that?? I've only got 3 assignments a term and they are all due on the same day?? I know 3 is meager compared to people who get 40 assignments but I like to whinge can??
Please congratulate me for I've been getting my
cellulite ridden ass to uni these past 4 days! Hurray!!
I love breaks. Doesn't everyone? I love breaks when I can't scratch anything off my READING LIST. Grr! I started on the World is Flat last summer and guess what? Summer 08 is no too far ahead and I'm not even halfway there. I guess by the time I finish reading Bestseller for 2007 I'll be so irrelevant. So now I'm reading One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Only 10 bucks from Borders! But then again, it could've cost 2 bucks from a second hand book shop. It's really interesting so far but the occasional illustrations inside creeps me out a little.
I am such a bad reader. Always stuck on the "I want to" stage and can't seem to finish a book. Oh well, it took me a year and half to finish an awesome book like Life of Pi. I actually thought it was boring initially and everyone who read it thought I'm retarded. But I take it back. I love it! Books make me happy :) Especially I can take the entire day off reading in a comfy place :))
And I don't understand why Zie finds it hard to believe that I read the newspapers. Hello?? He's such a dungu!
Anyhow, I'm working on some really really really exciting stuff for AIESEC as well. I only just posted up an internship classifieds on the global database which we call the "dot net" this afternoon and I've gotten responses from Tehran and India and I haven't even checked my other inbox which I asked them to respond to. Totally stoked but I know given the current condition my laptop is in (too slow, not enough RAM to run on) I really shouldn't go check and look at their CVs etc. It'll only serve to frustrate me. But I'm really so excited at how people out there all so eager to go on exchange and literally, one of them would be packing their bags and arriving at Adelaide airport in 3 months time. I mean this position is really really awesome! The pay is $3000 a fortnight! I would definitely go for it if I had the qualifications.
Again, Zie thinks that I'm selling my soul to this organisation and I attend too many meetings. I wish I didn't have to also lah! Ok, seems like I'm painting a really bad picture of him so just to clarify things, he's totally understanding and awesome. I just wish he had some normalcy in his sleeping hours.

On another note, Bai Tu Tang is toxic!!!!!! Boo hoo!!! Such a low blow. I love those milky chewy stick to your teeth candy :( You know why?? Cause it's so nostalgic!! Always reminds me of CNY at my Grandma's place ( she has them every year!!) . And I still vividly remember my first encounter with these yummies : I was in Primary 1 and I remember trying very hard to peel away the starch paper and the friend ( I can't remember who) thought I was a dungu and gleefully enlightened me on how to eat them. Hehe!
Digressing, I was probably different to all my peers back in primary school. So in my little hometown, most of the kids who went to Chinese school came from the kindergartens that was Chinese based as well. I however did the opposite so that probably explains why I never knew the existence of those "junk" pre school. And another interesting "culture shock" I encountered during primary school is the choice of skin colour when we did colouring. Guess what Chinese educated kids used for people? -- YELLOW!! Jeng jeng.... Imagine my shock that day when I coloured my little boy light brown and to turn around and see my classmates all using either yellow or orange. And they had the cheek to ask me why my fellow so weird. RACISTS!!!! Well my siblings at home didn't give me an easy time either. My brother always teased me about how the people all had jaundice whenever I did colouring at home. LOL.
Ok, anyhow, I'm so glad I ranted. We were so childish back in primary school :)
