Yikes! The blog has been pretty dead! It's not that I've been insanely busy, it's just that I'd much rather be doing everything else rather than blogging.
Had a really good week :) I love it when friends come and visit. Can't absolutely wait for next week because *drumroll* Ru xing my 607-Oldham Hall-roomie which we haven't been able to meet up over the last 2 years despite being in the same country due to bad timing or whatever reasons :)
Oh and the road trip as well! yay. Oh wait, I think I have a test too. Screw tests!
Road trip to see Wicked!!

Better than late than never I suppose.
Due to my own stupidity, I haven't been receiving mails from the uni for weeks. (that's because I've been checking in the wrong account) Fortunately enough for me, I realised what was happening before storming into the Business School office and demand an explanation, which I can imagine myself doing, hehe. So there was this letter from a faculty staff asking if I wanted to participate in a research. 1 hour of discussion on contraceptives and I get a $40 Coles/Myer voucher.

Which makes this dress $40 cheaper. Hmm... why not?

Just because www.chonghengzie.blogspot.com is dormant doesn't mean the unflattering photos have ceased. Well, you'd know
certain things just don't change, do they?

Hey, no need to stuff your face like that friend! The food ain't going no where except for your big fat belly!

Sweaty guy in work out attire. Sexy mou?
Ok lah, in his defence, that guy does manage to take a nice picture or two. Well, one out of thousand of his pictures that is. Loving someone means you uplift and say kind words to that person, yes? God would know how challenging it is :P

Look at him! All nice and ready for the camera. That's the way it should be!

So cute! I miss Summer bummer. She's such a darling :)
Wait, wasn't I talking about Zie before? Oopsy daisy! Erm... yeah lah, hmm looks like someone did posing 101 with that head tilted down and eyes looking up big and innocent.
In case you were wondering, no, I did NOT teach him that.
Sigh, my futile attempts at stopping him from reading girly blogs!
Ok, being in a relationship means you don't just accept each other for who they are but also make each other better people no? Ugly pictures or not, he's still the same guy I liked him for and also being able to subdue that evil temper of mine (although he might be the cause to many some of them) God only knows how patient and tolerant this guy has been with me. And that's why I love him!

Happy valentines day baby! ♥♥

Talk about being thrown to the deep end of the pool to learn how to swim.
So I've been subjected to a couple of steep learning curves of late.
1. Reacquainting myself to drivingOn the notorious streets of KL, no less. In all honesty, I haven't driven myself around since Form 5, the year I got my license. It's not a bad place to start off at all! I even drove myself and Karen to work this morning ,all thanks to Zie's parents and Karen who are so willing to let me drive their car and patiently guiding me on the roads.
Well I think I would've attempted to drive more in Adelaide if only Zie's car wasn't that hard to drive.
I've always thought I'll spend my whole life being driven around or taking the public transport. *shudders at the thought of it* And this brings us to the next point,
2. Taking the public busI took the bus back from work on Monday. It definitely took me more than an hour to get back when it was only a 10-15minutes ,depending on the traffic, drive back. So I spent God knows how much time looking for the bus stop, asking around and trekking through trecherous terrains to get to the bus stop, 30 minutes of waiting for the bus and another 30 minutes of bus ride. The bus stop was meant to be at KL Sentral but it was actually at the side of the road outside KL Sentral monorail station.
Didn't help that the bus I took came less frequently than all the other buses, so knowing me, I fretted and was close to calling Zie (of all people) for help
(meaning I get to scream at him for not being back here so he can pick me up). I couldn't take the cab as well knowing how those bloody bloodsuckers (they get bloody cause they suck all the blood) would charge ridiculously high just because it's near. See, it's not a good thing if you live quite near because they refuse to use the meter and exhort you for money instead. I took a cab home that Saturday night and all those freaks wanted to take RM10. In the end I managed to find one who agreed to take Rm6. Hello! I took a cab back from General Hospital the other day and it was only Rm8 ok??? And it's bloody far relatively like 20-ish minutes by Monorail okayyyy????
Gosh I can go on forever!
See taking the LRT or monorail ain't half as bad. But taking the bus is a whole different ballgame altogether. And please, I DO take public transport. 2 years of taking the MRT and bus in one of the most densely populated city is really nothing compared to taking the bus in KL. -_-
And this disgusting old man beside me but his seat was a bit elevated was clipping his nails away. GRRR! Sigh. Thank God the bus was relatively empty compared to the other ones that were sardine packed. I had enough seats for myself and my 2 bags. And that's the other thing, I feel more vulnerable lugging the laptop bag around. It's so heavy plus I can't leave it in the car!! I don't know how but those idiots have a way of stealing laptops from cars. And I thought my mum was exaggerating until I'm put in her shoes! Grr
Ok, time to move on to
3. Doing an audit by myself.Well I was initially going to do it by myself until I managed to ask this fellow intern along. Basically doing an audit at the client's place is pretty much what we do. Just that this time my senior asked me to do it myself since it is for a dormant company(which means they don't carry out any financial activities) and it would be really easy. It was pretty daunting at first since I had to it alone but now it's not too bad. I've been given pretty clear instructions so hopefully it'd be alright. Now, the only problem is getting there. Hmm..
I guess that's all for today. The firm is giving us a half day off on Christmas Eve too. Yippity yay!!
