I feel bad for always calling Cali's blog stagnant now that I haven't been updating much.
Tonnes of excuses for that. Procrastination/busy/nothing much to talk bout anyway.
Crunch time for assignments
only for a slow worker like me since I have , ok not just me but all accounting students have 2 assignments due on the 17th. KNS! But think I'm almost done, just counting on Waikeat to help me with the query part on my microsoft access assignment. Not that I like to depend on others so much but sometimes when you really can't do it, you gotta ask someone right? And IS is really sucky cos it's all about computers and stuff like hardware, software, network, e-commerce and the lot. I'd seriously prefer trigo or integration or even sucky first order differential equation right now.
Gosh, math is like so eons ago and I don't think I remember how to do first order DE anymore and most of the trigo formula are gone already. And I wonder why did I learn all those junk for in the first place? It was only yesterday when I was looking at my friend's chem lecture notes when I saw (gasp!)
pi and
sigma bonds and going "I never really understood all these"
especially with a lousy tutor like PADDY aka bad sex life when my friend said "I wish I took A levels last time" and I was secretly wishing I didn't drop econs instead. I think it's a waste that us students have to learn all those stuff which wouldn't be of any use in the future.
Ah, enough of that already.(or you wouldn't hear the end of it) Time to let go and stop bearing grudges with the world.
*forces a smile*Went for a fashion show organised by the women's committee of church last night. It was more like an event to celebrate mother's day where they gave out lots of freebies to mothers. The kids who modelled were naturally the biggest hit cos they are just soo... like they were there just for the fun of it rather than modelling, you get what I mean. And they performed this song which was just oh-so-saccharinely-heartwarming! Makes me miss my mummy even more. :'( ♥ you MUM!
And while going back, we had to share the bus with this bunch of aboriginese juveniles who kept asking us for smoke. And on the bus, this girl, totally oblivious to everything else , starting swearing away at a guy for cheating on her sister and suddenly there was a racial spat between 2 different groups of juvies. It really felt as if I was on a school bus filled with primary school kids where all the kids fight with each other or shout and scream at the top of their lungs. Tsk, Ah lians are just so omnipresent -_-
By the time we reached the city, it was already too late to catch the connecting bus so we decided to walk back. Luckily Alvin was there to walk us back and he doesn't even stay within the city but has to walk all the way back. He reckon it'll be a good time for some meditation(while walking) especially after the very disturbing bus ride.
Some random photos.

Bought this for only 50 bucks! Spending money unnecessarily again.
But I reckon since it was a pretty good buy and looks okay(pink la what else) might as well get it and save myself from regretting next time cos there were only a few pieces left.

Ah.... Krispy Kreme! Definitely lives up to its reputatioin for being the world's yummiest doughnuts. Hope they come to Adelaide soon! Gourmet Glaze will definitely be put out of business that time.
Oh, and some amazing sites to share!
www.tv-links.co.uk and
www.veoh.com for all the more popular tv shows , cartoons, anime and so on! Now I don't have to watch Deathnote by parts anymore! Yay!
And... something to muse about:
According to Dr Robert Rey aka Dr 90210, people who write their 'y's without the tail coming up are insecure. After checking through the journal I kept during my OCIP trip(cos it was the closest thing to diary I've ever had and yes, it's the red notebook with lots of stupid looking elephants on it and yes , I still have it although I don't use it anymore) and wherever I have my name written on, I conclude that my security level fluctuates within seconds since I write different types of 'y's within the same sentence. For eg, I tend to write my "yay"s with the first 'y' being straight and the second one being loopy.
Seriously, I think I'm too complicated for my own good.
