Homecoming QUEEN!!!!
Hehe, kidding la. I don't have such inflated ego.

Dear surprised me with the flowers :) He's such a sweetie ♥
Oh wow, feels like I never left at all! Everything's the same old same old. Ok, it hasn't even been 5 months since I left. The weather has been "terrific". Yes I'm such a complaining hag. Life over here is like one big red hot oven with a water bath since it's humid as well.
Weather aside, I shan't even mention how rampant crime in JB is and the police chief still had the cheek to say "JB folks are feeling a lot safer now" -_- My ass la! So call me paranoid or whatever but mamaking in JB is definitely a no-no for me.
Also, something in the Kluang air doesn't seem to agree with my nose and left me sneezing incessantly over the weekend. My nose's still peely.
Have been spending time with my parents and dear these few days.
I was even at Mersing for a couple of days last week since Mum had to be there for some work related reasons.
Mersing is on the east coast of Johor and it's the gateway to Tioman Island since there's where you take a ferry from, in case you didn't know. And that's where my Dad first stayed when he got here.
So while we were at this tiny seafood store, I stumbled upon something that got me immensely intrigued.

What's that bunch of durian looking thing hanging there?

PF's mug shot.
Say hi to puffer fish aka Flounder, Ariel's best friend under the sea.
It was amazing to know how they actually made those things. Apparently, they first open up the belly to empty the innards, stich it back and blow some air in before drying it.

I didn't see the stichings initially. But still pretty impressed la by the ingeniousness.
Good thing I now stay in JB and so does my Christofu. Wouldn't imagine how life will be like without him being here to drive me around and just hang out. Went for the Japanese buffet at Hyatt for lunch. We were the only patrons which I found pretty pathetic. Food's not too bad and I think it would've cost the same after converting if we were to go for the sushi buffet at Sakae.

It's always great to spend time with him. Reminds me of those good old times in Singapore.

"Hanky-pankying" in the lift.
I have yet too meet up with my the other 3 quarters of HACOFOS. I think I gave Hannyee a huge surprise when I dropped by at her workplace the other day. Should be going down to kiasuland next week I hope. They offered me permanent residency but was only applicable for foreign students studying there so I've missed out. If only the offered me last year. I think it would've been easier for me if I were to apply for a job or even internship there next time. But still hope that I wouln't have to apply for a job there.
I haven't met up with tonnes of people as a matter of fact! Old hostel mates, the one and only roomie I still have here, my really old primary school gang, even Chong Wee's back! He gave us all a really pleasant surprise :) It's a must to meet up with all of them before Rebin leaves for some
ulu place in Maryland which is allegedly 15 mins away from NYC according ot him.
So many things to do, so little time !
I guess I won't be updating so frequently since the internet connection at home sucks.

Took this at Nick and Erjie's place on my first day here. They just bought a new place somewhere near Pasir Panjang.Landed property with a garden. Bye bye to apartments and lifts. Not really sure where it is exactly, think the Pasir Panjang vegetable wholeseller place was where SARS first broke out in Sg back then. Happy for them cos they'll be able to move in once renovations are completed. Even Bro's moving out to Sengkang(eeks!) with a couple of mates, so should have plenty of choices for me to bunk at next time.

I think I kinda miss Miaottens :( Wonder how is she coping without me, heh. That was hours before departing with Jie organising my luggage for me.

Lastly, one monster of a picture of me to say
" I'm glad to be back!!"
To all those having their holidays, hope you have a jolly time wherever you are! Have a swell time at camp too! Wish I could go as well. And sorry people! I can't reply your tags since the tagboard wouldn't load.
