OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
#1: My almost month long holidays are over in a half-blink of an eye. Had a really great time back at home with my family, my dear and really glad I had the chance to meet up with some friends albeit not all. Esp Qiao wen!! What a pity we couldn't meet !Please come back at least once a year!
Anyhow, will blog about my trip back some other time since there were some distractions since coming back and the biggest one of them all was perhaps Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which leads us to

#2: It came, I read , I finished. Finished! After almost a decade, we finally know how the story ends. All the rumours, speculations ,the truth is out! This is perhaps weird coming out from me after all I haven't been sucked into the whole HP frenzy which probably started ages ago with people pre-ordering the book for starters, catching the 4am bus just the be first few in line (but saw nobody there, keke), and all the what-have-yous.But after picking up the book and reading it, I couldn't put it down. It was that good I tell you, action packed to the brim and extremely fast paced, it made my heart race during the duelling scences and all the narrow escapes, my butt numb from sitting at the same postion for too long and my eyes blurry from reading non stop for too long but still I didn't want to stop reading. Questions are answered and all the pieces fall together perfectly but there is still a part where I don't quite understand. I like the ending although people might think that it is somewhat cliched and cheesy but it suits me. And I was still flipping to the next page even when I saw the ending coming, perhaps in denial that the whole tale about the Boy Who Lived has finally come into a closure. Will definitely read another time just to savour every single word which I might have overlooked in my anxiousness to know wat happened next. And I hope they don't make the movie cos I don't think the whole story is going to fit into a 2 hour 30 minutes show without losing some of the really essential stuff and after seeing how horribly Order of Phoenix turned out. It was just a big yawn really. And my contempt for Daniel Radcliffe( sorry chareli!), Rupert Grint and Emma Watson's acting has been brewing since the first movie came out. I have no idea why everything they do just irritates me. And the latter two are really so ke-le-feh in the movie it's no wonder they only get $5 million bucks each for the next two movies while Daniel Radcliffe gets a , guess what, whooping $50 million bucks!! Hmmm... I wonder how the other two feel.
Right, back to the book. Truly a must read for this year. Ah I can't wait to read it again :)
Had my first day of uni today and it didn't start off really well cos I woke up late and missed the first lecture :( Oh dear with lessons starting at 9am everyday, I wonder how often will I be doing the same thing. Good thing I now have long weekends every week since Friday's off! Whee!
Btw, thanks people for still visiting my blog and tagging despite the hiatus. Yes, I'll resume blogging with from now on.
