Am back at my humble pad at JB. Malaysia still smells and feels the same. Had been TREMENDOUSLY busy since coming back with the house renovation, Er jie's wedding and the KK trip. Needless to say, so much had happened this past 2 weeks and now I wonder how I'm gonna spend the next 2 months here. JB is sucking the life out of me! I wanna go back to KLUANG and SINGAPORE!!
Meanwhile, post exams have been a total blast for me! Weather was sweltering hot. Perfect for the beach, skimpy clothes (haha kidding!) and your average summer kinda activities.

Was great catching up with different people just before heading back. I guess it won't be as easy meeting up while we're all back home.
And most importantly, spending time with people who are leaving Adelaide next year :'(
Guess I have to get used to the fact that separation is inevitable in life and just cherish the time spent together as much as I can.
We had really yummy green curry at Cafe Michael 2 on Rundle St. The best I've tasted so far. And the photo at Glenelg was taken by this really old uncle (Italian, I presume) which took the longest time to get a photo snapped and our ice creams were melting all over cos it was such a ridiculously hot day. No idea why we asked him of all people, but it was all good since he managed to capture all the shop signs. Hehe.. that's what I like about Glenelg, all my favourite eateries are there!
Then there was Jennifer's birthday. What a day it was. And we both went for haircuts ( in case you didn't notice ) early in the morning. Our plan to have lunch at Port Adelaide didn't work out and hence landing ourselves at a Mexican place on Melbourne St.
Had our last lifegroup session for the year. It was more like a gathering and catch up session and also to thank Jiaching and Ernest for being such awesome leaders and for making our year at Adelaide so much more bearable. Lifegroup is practically my "family" in Adelaide and I'm so thankful to be a part of it. Good thing the ice cream cake I made turned out ok albeit a bit too low on ice cream cos I was walking a lot under the sun that day.
Went for crabbing after that and it was so funny! Catch of the day was a juvenile crab which we had to 放生 in the end but it was fun nonetheless. We shall strive to achieve better next time.
And so that's it for now. I've yet to blog about the other events but that can wait. I can foresee many boring days cooped up in JB. Sombody please come rescue me!!
